The Drive to the Party

We got off to a late start since I had to pick up the SUV, my contacts, Camren, and lunch. By the time I got on the road, it was 1230pm. I was so nervous about hitting traffic but we made it all the way to Los Feliz (my old hood) before we even saw any.





It was around 630 by the time we got to the LA area, and the party started at 8. Right when we rolled up to my uncle's house, a bunch of other cars did too. My cousins were coming home to change and freshen up. They were coming from the ceremony and the party was at a hall at Liberty Park.

We were doing the same thing. We needed to stretch our legs, shave (at least Rich did), wipe our armpits with washcloths, brush our teeth, change and go!

The party was nice. Kobi got to meet his "cousins" Jazmeen and Emma. He's such a snob though. He would turn his head away whenever they tried to play with him. He gets nervous when other dogs pay attention to him.



My cousins did individual speeches and they did a "This is your life" DVD of my uncle. Very cute!





Camren got along really well with all the kids. I barely saw him that night since he was hanging out with them at the park.

We finally got to my parents' house in Riverside around midnight. What a long day!
